Celebrating Women in Construction Week 2026

At Nacional Group, Women in Construction Week is an opportunity to recognize the talented women who contribute to our projects, our culture, and our continued growth.

We are proud of the strong and growing presence of women within our organization. Over the past year, we’ve welcomed new team members and expanded our capabilities, and with that growth has come an even greater impact from the women across our team. From project compliance and accounting to project management and executive leadership, their work is felt at every level of the company.

Each of these individuals brings a unique perspective, skill set, and leadership style that strengthens how we operate. Their attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, mentorship, and collaboration not only support successful project delivery, but also shape the culture of our organization.

As highlighted throughout the week on our social channels, we are proud to recognize:

  • Colleen Hughes, Project Compliance Manager

  • Susan Medina-Tyler, Director of Accounting

  • Samantha Sargeant, Accounts Payable

  • Keri Woodring, Senior Project Manager

  • Melissa Tompkins, Project Manager

  • Kait Ortiz, Chief of Staff

Their contributions reflect the evolving landscape of the construction industry, where women continue to play an increasingly important role across both operational and leadership positions.

At Nacional, we believe that continuing to grow and support women within our organization is essential — not only for our team, but for the future of the industry as a whole. Creating opportunities, fostering leadership, and building an inclusive environment remain priorities as we move forward.

We are proud to build alongside women who lead, and we look forward to continuing that growth in the years ahead.
