Nacional Group Strengthens Commitment to Diversity and Growth with Leadership at Illinois Utilities Business Diversity Council Advocacy Day
Nacional Group proudly affirms its dedication to fostering diversity and inclusion within the construction and energy sectors through active engagement with the Illinois Utilities Business Diversity Council (IUBDC). Our Director of National Project Development, Frank Avino, CM-LEAN, recently represented the company at the IUBDC Advocacy Day in Springfield—a key event that highlights collaboration between small and diverse businesses and major utility providers such as Nicor Gas, ComEd, Exelon, Illinois American Water, WEC Energy Group, Peoples Gas, and North Shore Gas.
Frank’s leadership and expertise are essential to Nacional Group’s ongoing growth both in the Chicagoland area and nationally. His role bridges our commitment to developing strong partnerships with diverse suppliers while expanding our reach in highly regulated and competitive markets. Through his efforts, Nacional continues to advance opportunities for minority- and women-owned businesses, ensuring equitable participation and driving sustainable success for all stakeholders.
By fostering these critical relationships and championing inclusion, Frank helps position Nacional Group as a trusted partner within the utility and energy sectors—strengthening our presence, capabilities, and impact across Illinois and beyond.
We look forward to continuing this important work and building a more inclusive, prosperous future for our industry and communities.
