(New York, NY) CEO Brian Ortiz MEETS WITH JAMIE DIMON

Nacional Group is proud to serve JP Morgan Chase on both retail and corporate office projects around the country.   The relationship between Nacional and JPMC has grown far beyond simply a client/contractor engagement.   JP Morgan Chase has featured the “Nacional Story” as part of a national awareness campaign for the JPMC Supplier Diversity Initiative.   CEO, Brian Ortiz, was asked to participate as a key panelist to discuss how investing in the high performing MBE’s helps to create development opportunities for smaller and newer diverse firms.   Specifically, Brian talked about Nacional’s Changing the Face Mentorship program which helps to develop diverse subcontractors and smaller general contractors to prepare them for working with corporate clients.

As a thanks for participating in the program, Brian was given surprise opportunity to have a private conversation with JPMC CEO, Jamie Dimon.  

Meeting Jamie was one of my career highlights. I have always been blown away by his candor and honest no non-sense approach. To have the chance to meet with him directly and ask him questions about some of the things I want to improve upon, was a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Brian also got to spend one on one time with a number of JPMC Executives, including Phil de Josselin – Chief Administrative Officer, Jim Connell – Chief Procurement Officer, Ted Archer – Global Head of Business Partner Diversity, and many other amazing people.    Nacional is very grateful for the exposure, and encouragement of JPMC, which is one of the key elements for us to continue to grow our national organization.
